William Torry

William Torry has extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement across various industries. Currently serving as the Global Fulfilment (Sourcing) Manager at General Electric since September 2006, William manages a team focused on Global Operations within the pipeline inspection business and plays a key role in mentoring and developing staff. Previous roles include Purchasing Manager at Weatherford – McAllister Division, where William oversaw material procurement and inventory control for inflatable packer products, and Materials Manager at Dynamic Source Manufacturing, where William developed a comprehensive Materials Management organization. William's career milestones also include positions such as Supply Chain Supervisor at Ruffneck Heaters and Purchasing Manager at Corporate Express, where effective team management and process improvements significantly enhanced operational metrics. William’s early career at Intergraph Canada included progressive roles in logistics, culminating in leadership of the Logistics Department.
