Alan Dance

Alan Dance is currently serving as an Executive In Residence at General Inception since August 2022. Prior to this, Alan held various senior executive positions in companies such as NuGEN Technologies, NanoString Technologies Inc., Affymetrix, and Amersham Pharmacia Biotech. With extensive experience in marketing, business development, and corporate development, Alan has a strong background in successfully commercializing novel technologies in life science markets. Alan is also the Principal of Dance Consulting, a firm specializing in market research, strategic planning, go-to-market strategy, and international expansion. Alan holds an MBA from The Open University and a BSc in Applied Biology from Cardiff University.
