General Land & Power Corp. (GL&P) was founded in 2020 by energy industry executives with a mandate to pursue progressive renewable and sustainable development projects throughout the province. 

GL&P is currently developing the Sollair Solar Energy Facility (Sollair), a state-of-the-art utility scale renewable energy facility in Rocky View County. Sollair is a 75 mega-watt Solar Energy Facility, located a half mile east of the QE2 highway on Township Road 274, immediately north of the City of Airdrie. Sollair will cover approximately 480 acres on 640 acres of land owned by GL&P and will provide renewable energy to power an estimated 25,000 homes.
