Patrick Bounds

Patrick Bounds is a Senior Data Scientist at General Motors and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they are pursuing a graduate degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on artificial intelligence applications in computational fluid dynamics. Previously, Patrick worked as a CFD Research Engineer at Corvid Technologies, where they developed workflows and implemented simulation strategies. They also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Computational Fluid Dynamics and held various engineering roles at companies including Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies and Chip Ganassi Racing Teams. Patrick earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, each with a perfect 4.0 GPA, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
