Panos Dimitriou

Panos Dimitriou has a extensive work experience in the insurance and actuarial industry. Panos started their career in 1992 as an Actuarial Assistant at International Life, before moving on to become a Supervisor of Actuarial Dept. at the same company. In 1996, they joined Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as the Manager of Actuarial & IT Dept. In 1998, they worked as the Manager of Actuarial Dept. at XIOS Bank before joining Generali Greece as the Manager of Actuarial Dept. in the same year. Panos later became the General Manager at Generali Greece and then the CEO at Generali Hellas. In 2015, they became the President of the Hellenic Actuarial Society. Panos'smost recent roles have been at ΕΑΕΕ - Ένωση Ασφαλιστικών Εταιριών Ελλάδος Ελλάδος, where they held the positions of Vice President and General Secretary.

Panos Dimitriou acquired the title of Associate of the Society of Actuarial from the Society of Actuaries USA in 1995. In the same year, they also acquired an Actuarial License from the Society of Actuaries in Greece. Prior to this, from 1985 to 1990, Panos studied at the University of Athens in the Faculty of Science, specifically in the Mathematics Department.
