Edoardo Maestri

Edoardo Maestri currently serves as the Group Head of Operational Excellence at Generali since January 2023. Prior to this role, Edoardo held the position of Head of Innovation & Transformation at Generali Investments from September 2020 to January 2023. From February 2016 to September 2020, Edoardo was the Head of the Group CEO Office and also contributed to Group Strategy and Business Development at Generali. Edoardo's career began at KPMG Corporate Finance as an Associate from October 2004 to December 2006, followed by a role as an Investment Banker at Lehman Brothers until June 2008. Edoardo spent nearly eight years at McKinsey & Company, where the position of Manager was held until February 2016. Edoardo holds a degree in Business Administration and Business Law with a focus on Corporate Finance from Università Bocconi and completed the Global Leadership Program at IMD in 2018.
