Fabio Marchetti

Fabio Marchetti is the Group Head of International Affairs at Generali, a position held since September 2019. Prior to this role, Fabio served as Senior Vice President and Head of European Government Affairs at Eni from January 2008 to September 2019, where significant influence was exerted on public policy concerning energy and climate. Fabio’s earlier experience includes serving as Communications and External Affairs Director at Unilever for the Home and Personal Care Category at the EU level and as Deputy Head of Office - Corporate Affairs Manager at JTI, focusing on tobacco legislation and strategic advisory. Fabio holds an LLM in European Law from the College of Europe and has completed management training at The Wharton School, alongside degrees in Political Sciences and International Law from Luiss Guido Carli University and Sciences Po Strasbourg.
