Gianfranco Vecchiet

Gianfranco Vecchiet has extensive experience in the insurance sector, having served as Member and Vice Chairman at Insurance Europe from January 2005 to December 2023, where responsibilities included leadership in the Single Market Committee and the Conduct of Business Committee since 2014. Prior roles include Vice Chairman of the Conduct of Business Committee at Assicurazioni Generali Trieste and Head of the Group EU & International Affairs Department. Gianfranco has also held significant positions at Generali Group, including Manager of IFRS17&9 Expert and Manager of the International Affairs Department. Education includes a Laurea in Economia e Commercio from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
