Jan Borek has extensive experience in the insurance industry, particularly in reinsurance and underwriting. Since October 2007, Jan has served as the CEE Senior Reinsurance Expert - Casualty at GENERALI CEE HOLDING B.V., focusing on casualty reinsurance programs. Previously, Jan was a Casualty Underwriter, contributing to the underwriting of third-party liability business in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Prior to joining GENERALI, Jan worked at Česká pojišťovna from 2000 to September 2007 as a Casualty Reinsurance Expert and Product Manager, handling product management and underwriting tasks. Jan holds a degree from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, completed in 2000.
