Laura Kurlat

Laura Kurlat is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and corporate law. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance for Global Corporate & Commercial at Generali since August 2021, Laura previously held the positions of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at La Caja de Ahorro y Seguro from November 2018 to July 2021. Earlier in the career, Laura worked as an Associate at Allende & Brea, handling significant M&A transactions and managing daily legal needs for clients from April 2008 to October 2018. Additional experience includes roles at Estudio Zang Bergel & Viñes, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, and M. & M. Bomchil. Laura holds an LL.M in International Law from New York University School of Law and a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, along with a bilingual diploma from St. Andrew's Scots School.
