Simone Comani

Simone Comani is currently the Head of Financial Audit at Generali, focusing on Group Head Office and thematic audits. Formerly a Senior Manager at KPMG Italy, they specialized in statutory financial statements and Solvency II audits for major insurance players, as well as advisory services on IFRS 17 and IFRS 9. Simone also held management roles at KPMG UK, where they supported insurance companies with Solvency II and IFRS 17 implementation. They have extensive experience conducting financial due diligence for international insurance firms and have served as a trainer in auditing and insurance accounting.
