Chris Ferrer

Chris Ferrer has over 20 years of experience in IT operations and cybersecurity. Chris is currently the Head of IT at Generation Bio since September 2020. Prior to that, Chris worked at Sage Therapeutics as the Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure from March 2018 to July 2020. Chris also served as the Associate Director of IT Operations at Momenta Pharmaceuticals from May 2016 to March 2018 and as the Director of IT Infrastructure Services at FORUM Pharmaceuticals from November 2015 to May 2016. Chris began their career at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. where they worked for 16 years, serving as the Director of Datacenter Operations from March 1999 to November 2015.

Chris Ferrer attended Penn State University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. Following this, they pursued further education at The Ohio State University from 1994 to 1996, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Molecular Genetics.
