Scott Nasca

President & Founder at Generation Capital

Scott is the founder and owner of Generation Capital Management and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm. Scott manages the overall investment process for the firm’s high-net-worth individuals, trust and estate, corporate retirement plans, and municipality clients. He has been in the investment industry for over 30 years first as a principle and Director of Equity Investments at a local Investment Advisory firm before he started Generation Capital Management in 2003.

Scott holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and BA in Economics from the John Wiley Jones School of Business, State University of New York, College of Geneseo. He currently holds the Designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) awarded in 2001.

Scott has been a regular contributor to local media outlets including Spectrum News, WHAM 1180 Radio, Rochester Business Journal and the Rochester Daily Record. He has also been quoted in national publications including The Wall St. Journal, Barron’s and Bloomberg.

Scott is the Chairman of the Board of the Monroe County Water Authority and is actively involved on councils at Holy Cross Church. He lives in Hilton with his wife Janine and daughter and enjoys the trips the family makes to Boston to see their three sons, who live or attend college there.
