Jay Shepley is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in nonprofit administration, public relations, new media, and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Generation Hope since April 2024, Jay previously held the position of Communications Director at Food & Friends from August 2021 to March 2024. Prior roles include Director of Communications at Leadership Greater Washington and Membership Engagement Manager at Congress for the New Urbanism. Jay's career also includes significant contributions as a manager for website and technology at The International Women's Forum and as a digital media and communications specialist at Randstad. Additionally, Jay has a background in film and television production, working with prominent organizations such as HBO and ABC Television. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Culture from Indiana University Bloomington.

To ensure all student parents have the opportunities to succeed and experience economic mobility, Generation Hope engages education and policy partners to drive systemic change and provides direct support to teen parents in college as well as their children through holistic, two-generation programming.
