Elisa Capers

Elisa Capers is a consultant at Generation Ready. Elisa was previously an elementary school teacher at the Public Preparatory Network from July 2020 to April 2022. Elisa was also a 4th grade teacher at Beachbody, and a Dean of Instruction at Ascend Public Charter Schools from August 2014 to August 2016. Elisa has also been an Elementary School Teacher at La Cima Elementary Charter School from August 2008 to June 2011, and a Middle School Teacher at Hyde Leadership Charter School from January 2016 to June 2020.

Elisa Capers has a non-matriculated Elementary Education and Teaching degree from Touro University. Elisa also has a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Fordham University. Elisa's undergraduate degree is in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from the State University of New York College at Oswego. Elisa is certified by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a GFI, and by the New York State Education Department in Childhood Education 1-6 and Early Childhood Education B to Gr. 2. Elisa is also a certified personal fitness trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness).
