Jane Murphy

Jane has more than 30 years of experience in NYC Schools. After ten years as a K-2 self-contained special education teacher, the search for educational equity led her to the inclusion movement where she worked across the elementary grades as a classroom teacher and intervention specialist. She was National Board certified as an Early Childhood Generalist and a Shaklee Special Education National Teacher of the Year.

Jane has served as an instructional coach for literacy and math in grades K-6 and was the founding principal of a PK – 2 magnet school and a PK-5 elementary school.
