Andrew Ratcliffe

Andrew Ratcliffe is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in executive roles across various sectors. Notably, Andrew served as CEO of Impetus from April 2016 to September 2020 and held the same position at MQ Mental Health Research in early 2025. Additionally, Andrew worked as Executive Director of Programmes at Guy's and St Thomas' Charity for a brief period and held the Director of Strategy and Development position at the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative from August 2011 to March 2016. Andrew's strategic expertise is demonstrated through previous roles as Senior Adviser for the Office of Tony Blair in Rwanda and as a Senior Policy Adviser for the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit. Academic qualifications include an MA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and an MSc in Comparative Social Policy, both from the University of Oxford. Currently, Andrew serves as Director and Managing Director for the Asia Pacific at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change while contributing as a Board of Trustees member for both Action Tutoring and Generation.
