Generational certifies EV battery health so dealers, fleet operators and remarketing platforms can buy, price and sell used electric vehicles with confidence.

Our independent battery health certification gives automotive businesses the data they need at the point that matters most. A 2-minute forecourt test. A clear, customer-facing certificate. No technician required. Works on every BEV and PHEV, regardless of make or model.

The results speak for themselves. Motorpoint rolled out Generational across all 21 UK stores and tested EVs now sell 4 days faster on average. Drive Green attributes 50% of their EV sales to battery health checks. Carbase saw a 300% increase in EV ad views. Smiths Motor Group recorded a total annual commercial impact of 296,600 across 4 sites.

We published the 2025 Battery Performance Index, the UK's largest analysis of used EV battery condition, based on 8,000+ health assessments across BEVs and PHEVs spanning 0 to 12 years and 0 to 160,000 miles. It is free to read at generational.ac.

Backed by the Advanced Propulsion Centre. Used by the UK's largest dealer groups. Trusted by the industry's most forward-thinking operators.

The used EV market is growing fast. Battery condition transparency is the foundation it needs to grow with confidence. That is what we are building.
