Edward G. Weber

Executive Managing Director, North America at Generational Group

Mr. Weber is one of the most active nationally recognized Merger & Acquisition advisors in North America. He joined Generational Equity in 2005 as Executive Managing Director.

Mr. Weber possesses over 25 years of international investment banking and corporate finance experience ranging from small privately held family owned businesses to NYSE and NASDAQ listed public companies. Mr. Weber has advised more than 850 companies resulting in the successful closing of over $8 billion in closed transaction value spanning five continents.

Prior to joining Generational Equity, Mr. Weber served McGladrey Capital Markets as Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director. During his tenure at McGladrey Capital Markets, Mr. Weber was instrumental in the origination and successful closing of several middle market sell-side transactions totaling over $1 billion in closed transaction value. Previously, Mr. Weber served Banc of America Securities as Executive Managing Director of the west coast Middle Market Investment Banking Group based in Los Angeles. Banc of America Securities is the Wall Street investment banking and brokerage subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation. Clients included a diverse array of public and privately held companies including Blue Diamond Almond Growers, California Pizza Kitchen, The Cheesecake Factory, Celestica, Converse Footwear, Flextronics, Hines Horticulture, Robert Mondavi Winery, Sierra Aluminum and Viewsonic. Prior to Banc of America Securities, Mr. Weber was a Principal with New Market Partners LLC, specializing in M&A sell-side advisory and turnaround management consulting services with offices in New York and Cleveland. Mr. Weber began his career as an entrepreneur by building and selling two companies.

Mr. Weber earned his Executive MBA with honors from The Weatherhead Graduate School of Business Administration at Case Western Reserve University and his BS in Finance, summa cum laude from The University of Akron.
