Bob Steinberg

Bob Steinberg is the founder of GenerativeIQ, established in December 2023, which focuses on assisting early-stage AI startups in building intellectual property rights while offering investment opportunities. Previously, Bob served as a partner at Latham & Watkins from July 2002 to December 2023 and held the position of First President Emeritus at the PTAB Bar Association from September 2016 to February 2019. Bob was also the chairman and CEO of xSides Corporation from 1999 to 2002 and a partner at Irell & Manella LLP from January 1988 to May 1999. Bob holds a JD in Intellectual Property Law from Georgetown University Law Center and both a BS in Economics and a BSE in Systems Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, having attended The Wharton School and The Moore School from 1978 to 1982.
