James Phillips

James Phillips has worked in the financial services industry since 1990. James began their career at Daiwa Securities as Executive Vice President, co-heading the equity arbitrage department and trading stat arb, index arb, and risk arb on a proprietary basis. In 2000, they moved to Telemetry Investments, L.L.C. where they served as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Compliance Officer. In 2015, they joined Principia Ventures LLC as Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Generic Network Systems as Executive Vice President of Business Development.

James Phillips holds a BA in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University. James has also obtained three additional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud Economics Accreditation, Sales Accreditation (Business), and Certified Cloud Practitioner, all obtained in August 2022.
