Dave Travis

Dave Travis has extensive experience in strategic leadership within faith-based organizations. Currently serving as Director of Strategic Counsel to Pastors and Church Boards at Generis since July 2018, Dave provides guidance on strategy, succession, and effective governance for church leadership. Additionally, as a Senior Fellow and former Chief Executive Officer at Leadership Network, Dave leads a team focused on empowering innovative entrepreneurs in transforming ideas into impactful actions. Previous roles include Managing Director and Vice President, where Dave successfully built high-performance teams and initiated key projects. Dave holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently, Dave is pursuing further education in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management at Harvard Business School.
