Buzz Schoen

Buzz Schoen has significant experience in the retail industry, specifically in construction and facilities management for Genesco since 1996. Currently serving as Senior Director of Store Planning and Construction since June 2016, Buzz previously held the role of Director of Facilities Management from November 2008 to January 2015, managing new and remodel construction projects across the US and Canada for brands including Journeys, Journeys Kidz, and Johnston & Murphy. Prior roles include Project Manager and Senior Operations Coordinator, with early experience as Regional Operations Manager overseeing operations across nine states for the Journeys chain. Buzz Schoen holds a degree from The University of Akron, attended from 1976 to 1979.
