Johnny Byrd

Johnny Byrd has extensive experience in tax management, currently serving as Vice President of Tax at Genesco since January 2012. Within Genesco, Johnny has held the roles of Sr. Director of International and Income Tax, as well as Director of International & Income Tax. Prior to Genesco, Johnny was Tax Director at O'Charley's from April 2010 to January 2012, where responsibilities included corporate tax provision and audit settlements. Previous positions also include Tax Director at Spheris from 2007 to 2010 and Tax Manager at Thompson Machinery from 2000 to 2007. Johnny holds a Master's degree in Accounting-Tax from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
