Merrick Smith

Merrick Smith has extensive experience in merchandising and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Merchandising, Operations, & Ecommerce for Genesco since February 2015. Previous roles at Genesco include Vice President of Operations for Genesco Brands Group and Vice President of Merchandising for Genesco Licensed Brands. Prior to Genesco, Merrick Smith worked as Merchandise Manager at SureGrip Footwear and held various positions, including Assistant Manager of Market Solutions and Assistant Buyer, at Kohl's Department Stores. Early career experience includes roles as a Marketing Assistant at Podango Inc. and as a Productivity Consultant at Franklin Covey. Merrick Smith holds a BS in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing from Brigham Young University and completed the Genesco Executive Leadership Development Program at Belmont University.
