Rick Higgins

Rick Higgins currently serves as President of the Genesco Brands Group, a position held since July 2023. Previously, from July 2022 to May 2023, Rick was the Senior Vice President and Chief Product & Marketing Officer for the Genesco Branded Group. Rick's extensive experience includes a tenure at Skechers from April 2008 to May 2017 as Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing, where responsibilities encompassed brand strategy, sales execution, and product development. Prior to that, Rick held the position of Vice President of GMM Footwear at Pacific Sunwear from September 2006 to April 2008, focusing on buying and merchandising to enhance profitability. Additionally, Rick served as Vice President of GMM for Women's and Kid's footwear at Journeys, a division of Genesco, from June 1986 to September 2006, where leadership and vision were provided for retail strategy and assortment planning across 830 locations.
