Emily Umscheid

Emily Umscheid, MS, LCGC, is a board-certified and licensed Genetic Counselor with over 8 years of experience in genetic testing laboratories. They have worked as a Senior Genetic Counselor at GENESCREEN COUNSELING, LLC since 2018, and previously at Natera and Pathway Genomics. Emily specializes in reproductive, multifactorial, and drug response genetic testing and is proficient in various genetic testing methodologies, including NGS and SNP-based testing. They hold a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Northridge, and a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Cruz.
