Ryan Short is the Managing Partner of the Shared Value and Impact practice at Genesis Analytics, an advisory firm focused on reshaping capitalism to serve global needs. They are a recognized expert in corporate impact and ESG, advising major companies on strategies to measure and enhance their social and environmental contributions. Previously, Ryan co-led the Development Economics practice at Genesis Analytics, where they provided over a decade of insights on African economic development. They also served as legal counsel at JP Morgan London earlier in their career. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and a Bachelor of Law from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and a MSc in International Politics (cum laude) from the University of Edinburgh.
