Steve Cohen, CGMA, is a principal consultant who co-leads the health financing and economics unit in the Health Practice at Genesis Analytics. With 20 years of consulting experience in health and development, Steve specializes in health financing, program costing, and public financial management systems. Steve has supported various initiatives, including funding applications for HIV and TB programs in multiple SSA countries since 2007 and has collaborated with South Africa's Department of Health to strengthen budget planning for health programs since 2016. Steve is also active as an Organiser for Durbanites Against Plastic Pollution, advocating for a sustainable, waste-free environment. Steve holds a Master's degree in Environment & Development from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
