Genesis Consulting Engineers are a specialist forensic civil and structural engineering consultancy firm in Australia, dedicated to investigating and reporting on the root cause of building performance issues and structural failures.

Our mission is to make a positive contribution to the building and construction industry and to the wider community by helping restore livelihoods and built assets.

We solve complex engineering problems associated with property claims and building performance. We go above and beyond for our clients to determine the 'genesis' of damage initiation and document the structural remediation works required to restore damaged assets.

We prepare comprehensive expert reports for Lawyers and provide expert witness testimony for litigated building and construction matters before the various Courts of Australia.

We perform comprehensive conditional structural assessments of built assets, identifying items of structural significance that require attention and advise on what actions need to be taken on assets in the short, medium and long-term future.

We help the general insurance industry when disaster strikes. We respond to instructions immediately and attend anywhere in Australia. We are experienced in assessing damage caused by all types of natural disasters and catastrophes, including damaged by fire, wind, water and impact. Our engineering reports are provided swiftly to Loss Adjusters, Insurers and Claim Managers.

We design and document the remedial measures necessary to return a damaged asset to its original condition and in accordance with the National Construction Code and associated Australian Standards.

We provide civil and structural design services for residential and commercial projects. From minor home renovations, through to large commercial projects, we have the experience and capability to provide sound design solutions that are both cost-effective and practical. Energy infrastructure projects are our specialty!
