Krystal Stackhouse

Director, Programs, National Capital Region at Genesys Works

Krystal Stackhouse is the Director of Programs, National Capital Region at Genesys Works. Before joining Genesys Works, Krystal was with Johns Hopkins University, Center for Talented Youth as a Program Assistant and College Possible as a High School College Admissions Coach.

Krystal has over ten years of experience in program management, coaching, and mentoring. Krystal is passionate about helping underserved communities and believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to succeed.

At Genesys Works, Krystal is responsible for overseeing the programs and making sure they are running smoothly. Krystal also works closely with the team to ensure that the participants are receiving the best possible experience and are on track to reach their goals.

Krystal’s previous experience has helped their to be successful in their current role. Krystal is able to effectively communicate with their team and the participants. Krystal is also able to relate to the participants and understand their needs.

Krystal Stackhouse has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College, where they minored in Women's and Gender Studies. Krystal is certified in Leadership Fairfax's Emerging Leaders Institute and Minnesota Minority Education Partnership's College Connector Certification.

Krystal Stackhouse works with Will Kelland - Program Coordinator, National Capital Region, Vinette Brown - Development Director, National Capital Region, and Abby McKenna - Program Coordinator, National Capital Region. Their manager is Selvon Waldron, Executive Director, National Capital Region.
