Daniel Lee

Daniel Lee is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and security sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director for Asia Pacific & Japan at Genetec since August 2017, Daniel focuses on fostering collaboration among urban planners, city managers, and security experts to enhance public safety through multipurpose technology. Prior to this role, Daniel held key positions at Hills Limited, including Head of Product Practice and General Manager for CCTV, Surveillance & IT, where responsibilities included the integration of Lan 1 Pty Ltd into Hills and the establishment of the Hills IT business. Daniel's leadership at Lan 1 Pty Ltd spanned over two decades, from Managing Director to its acquisition by Hills Holdings Limited. Additionally, Daniel has experience as a Test Engineer at Thomson Sintra Pacific and holds degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and UNSW, as well as membership in the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
