Devang Patel

Devang Patel is an experienced professional in software development and biochemistry, currently serving as the Development Assistance Team Lead and Technical Lead at Genetec since July 2018. In this role, Devang has provided consultancy to third-party technology partners, developed sample projects showcasing Genetec's SDK and APIs, and held various technical positions within the company. Prior to Genetec, Devang worked as a Junior Programmer Analyst at MEDISCA, where responsibilities included designing and maintaining a warehouse management system in C#. Devang's research experience includes a Graduate Student Researcher role at McGill University, focusing on the effects of oxidative stress on RNA granules and senescence in human fibroblasts, as well as undergraduate research analyzing cytokine levels in senescent cells. Devang holds a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Concordia University and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from McGill University.
