Florian Matusek

Florian Matusek is currently a member of the AI Advisory Board at the Security Industry Association since September 2023. Florian has been with Genetec since November 2017, holding the position of Director of Video Analytics and Managing Director of the Vienna Office. In May 2023, Florian served as a jury member for AI Adoption at Austria Wirtschaftsservice. From December 2005 to October 2017, Florian co-founded and acted as COO for KiwiSecurity, and briefly worked as a video expert in customer service at Skype in 2006. Earlier in career, Florian was a child actor for ORF, starring in programs focused on personal safety. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, along with a Master of Science in Computer Graphics and Image Processing from Technische Universität Wien, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software and Media Applications from Technische Universität Wien.
