Laura Smith

Laura Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laura currently serves as the Senior Sales Director at GENETWORx, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to that, Laura worked at MiMedx as an Account Executive from January 2017 to November 2018.

Before entering the healthcare field, Laura gained sales and management experience at Bellevue Pharmacy. Laura started as an Account Executive in August 2012 and later became the Regional Sales Manager from August 2014 to March 2016. Laura also served as a Speciality Sales Representative at Advanced BioHealing, Inc. from February 2012 to August 2012.

Laura's earlier career revolved around pharmaceutical sales at Pfizer. Laura began as a Primary Care Sales Representative from June 2004 to June 2008 and later transitioned to the role of Therapeutic Speciality Representative from June 2008 to February 2012.

Prior to their sales career, Laura worked as a Teacher at both Southlake Carroll ISD from August 2003 to June 2004 and Highland Park ISD from August 2001 to June 2003.

Laura Smith earned their Bachelor's degree in Education from Texas Christian University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Later, they pursued a Master's of Science degree in Healthcare Administration at Texas Women's University, completing their studies from 1995 to 1997.
