Kent Chen is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in technology development and research within the pharmaceutical and oncology sectors. Currently serving as a Scientist at Genevant Sciences since July 2021, Kent previously held the position of Research Associate at Cuprous Pharmaceuticals Inc., where formulation development and scaling-up were primary responsibilities. Kent's academic background includes a PhD in Interdisciplinary Oncology from The University of British Columbia, where research focused on copper-flavonoid complexes for acute myeloid leukemia treatment. Additional experience includes roles at BC Cancer Research Center, where lipid-based formulations were developed, and the University of British Columbia as a Biology instructor.
