David Direnfeld

David Direnfeld is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic settings. As the Owner and Clinical Director of the Centre for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy since March 2005, David has developed a specialized focus on cognitive behavioral therapy. Additionally, David serves as an Independent Medical Examiner for Genex Services, Centric Health Corp., and D&D Disability Management, conducting examinations and providing reports for claimants involved in motor vehicle accidents. Prior to these roles, David held various academic positions, including Assistant Professor at McMaster University and Clinical Psychologist at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic. David's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University at Buffalo and a Psychology Residency at The University of British Columbia.
