Max Tay

Max Tay has a long and varied work experience. Max began their career in 2004 as an Assurance Manager at PwC Singapore. In 2006, they seconded to PwC Australia as a Senior Assurance Associate. In 2011, they seconded to PwC Mainland China and Hong Kong as an Assurance Manager. In 2014, they moved to SBA Stone Forest Corporate Advisory (Shanghai) as a Director, Business Advisory. In 2015, they joined China Yuchai International Ltd (CYD) as a Director, Head of Internal Audit. In 2017, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Heatec Jietong Holdings. In 2018, they were appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Intraco Limited. In 2021, they were appointed as an Independent Director at SINCAP GROUP LIMITED. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Sen Yue Holdings Limited. Currently, they are the Senior Director, Head of Finance at Geniebook.

Max Tay's education history includes a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, obtained between 2001 and 2004. Max also attended Raffles Institution from 1997 to 1998, and from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, Max Tay has obtained several certifications, including the Listed Entity Director Programme from the Singapore Institute of Directors in August 2018, ASEAN CPA from the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant Coordinating Committee in May 2018, Chartered Accountant (Singapore) from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in January 2013, and Chartered Accountant (Australia) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in June 2008.
