Sumeet Joon

Sumeet Joon has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2006, they worked at Verizon as an Analyst for two years. Sumeet then moved to Amdocs in 2008, where they served as a Sr. Subject Matter Expert for four years. At Comverse, from 2012 to 2014, Sumeet worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer, focusing on the development of telecom software products. Sumeet then joined Amdocs again in 2014 as a Development Group Leader, leading a team of software engineers in the design and development of telecom software products. In 2016, they transitioned into the role of Software Development Manager at Amdocs and later became an Engineering Manager at Shuttl in 2017. Sumeet further gained experience as an Engineering Manager at Hotstar, where they were responsible for automation of metadata ingestion and low latency serving of metadata. In 2021, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at WhiteHat Jr, and as of 2022, they hold the position of Head of Engineering at Geniemode.

Sumeet Joon completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH) between 2002 and 2006. Before that, they finished their 12th Standard education with a focus on Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) at Campus School CCS HAU Hissar. In addition to their formal education, they also hold a certification as an Amdocs Certified Scrum Master from Amdocs, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
