Odd Cappelen

Odd Cappelen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Odd started their professional journey as a Student Assistant at NTNU, where they provided support to students in courses related to algorithms, data structures, data modeling, and database systems.

Later, Odd worked as a Scientific Assistant at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment - FFI, where they developed systems for automatic camera-assisted landing of UAVs and a simulator system for Unmanned Aerial Systems.

Odd also gained experience as an Intern at Microsoft, where they focused on software engineering, specifically designing and prototyping a system for data storage.

Odd then joined BearingPoint as a Technology Consultant, working on data science and data engineering solutions. Odd progressed to the role of Senior Technology Consultant, actively contributing to recruitment, competency development, and sales efforts.

In 2021, Odd ventured into entrepreneurship, co-founding the company Geniess and assuming the role of Chief Technology Officer. Prior to this, they were also a Founder at Antler. Overall, Odd's work experience demonstrates their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to contribute to diverse projects and teams.

Odd Cappelen completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

- From 2013 to 2018, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.

- In 2012 to 2013, Odd studied at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Business Administration.

- The period from 2010 to 2012 saw Odd attending Trondheim Katedralskole, where they completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
