Celina Ran

Celina Ran has gained significant work experience in the finance and investment industry. Celina is currently working as an Investment Manager at Genki Forest since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Overseas Investment Manager at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) starting from July 2020. Celina further expanded their knowledge and skills by working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Alpha Capital Holdings, Inc. from June 2019 to October 2019. Before that, they worked as an Analyst at China-Africa Fund for Industrial Cooperation for a period of five months in 2018. Celina also undertook several internships, including a role as an Intern at The Finance Bureau in the Economic Planning and Development Department, an Asset Management Summer Intern at Generali, a Financial Analyst Intern at China Investment Securities, and a Team Leader in the Young Talent Program at Citi. These internships allowed their to gain valuable insights and practical experience in various finance-related areas such as economic planning, asset management, and financial analysis.

Celina Ran's education history begins with their high school education. From 2011 to 2013, they attended The Affiliated High School of South China Normal University and obtained a High School Diploma. In 2013, they moved on to Beijing National Day School and also obtained a High School Diploma.

After completing high school, Celina Ran pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade. From 2014 to 2018, they attended the Central University of Finance and Economics. In 2016, they also had the opportunity to participate in an exchange study program at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Economics.

In 2017, Celina Ran began their coursework at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, focusing on Math. Celina completed this coursework in 2018. Subsequently, they joined Columbia University in 2018 and obtained a master's degree in economics in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Celina Ran also obtained the National Computer Rank Examination (C) certification from the National Education Examinations Authority in November 2016.
