Bas Geerdink

Bas Geerdink is a Research Associate specializing in Cell Banking and Documentation at Genmab since September 2022. Prior to this role, Bas worked as a Bioprocess Operator at MSD Animal Health Nederland from April 2020 to April 2022, focusing on aseptic techniques in a cleanroom environment under GMP standards. Bas completed a graduation project at Vivaltes B.V. in 2019, which involved developing a longevity assay for a genetically modified C. elegans strain to study the anti-aging effects of biological compounds. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Junior Technician at the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute from February to July 2018, where skills in HPLC, PCR, and yeast transformation techniques were acquired. Bas holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Molecular Biology from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, completed in 2019.
