Birgit Christensen

Birgit Christensen is a seasoned professional in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as a CMC Project Manager at Genmab since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Scientist at AGC Biologics, where Birgit was a technical lead for process validation activities related to antibody manufacturing and played a key role in a fast-tracked Covid-19 vaccine project. Birgit's extensive tenure at Lundbeck spanned over two decades, culminating in a Senior Production Chemist position, with responsibilities including technology transfers, risk assessments, and the preparation of protocols for various manufacturing processes. Birgit holds a Master’s degree from Danmarks Farmaceutiske Universitet and has foundational education as a mathematic-chemist student from Aabenraa Statsskole.
