Chara K.

Research Associate

Chara K. is a Research Associate at Genmab since April 2023, with a strong background in cell and molecular biology gained through various research roles. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at BSRC Alexander Fleming, where Chara investigated the role of Bcl6 in iNKT cell lineage differentiation under the supervision of Dr. Mihalis Verykokakis. Additional roles include research internships focusing on the effects of Retinoic Acid on human smooth muscle cells, bibliographic research, and cancer cell culture, in esteemed institutions such as the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Chara holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Ioannina, complemented by participation in the ICI-CIVIS Summer School in Immuno-Oncology at Aix-Marseille University.
