Dena Demarco

Dena DeMarco is a seasoned executive in clinical research with extensive experience in hematology. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global Clinical Research Scientists at Genmab since November 2018, Dena has played a pivotal role in advancing antibody platforms and leading successful collaborations with significant financial impact. Prior to this, Dena held various leadership positions at Celgene from 2003 to 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing clinical development programs that resulted in key global drug approvals for multiple myeloma and shaping the Lead Clinical Scientist role within the organization. Dena's earlier career includes roles at Orion Pharma, focusing on clinical trial management, and at Metropolitan Research Associates, where Dena was instrumental in establishing operational departments and managing multiple global clinical trials across several therapeutic areas. Dena holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University.
