Edward Ramirez

Edward Ramirez possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as the Head of Development Japan and Head of Medical Japan at Genmab since April 2019. Prior to Genmab, Edward held various senior roles, including Head of Medical Affairs at Baxter International Inc., and multiple positions at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, such as Japan Development Team Leader and Clinical Responsible Physician. Edward's career also includes significant contributions at AstraZeneca as Medical Affairs Director and Clinical Operations Manager, along with early experience as a Clinical Research Associate at Schering-Plough Research Institute and Pfizer. Edward earned a Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and completed further studies at King's College London.
