Guy Roukens is currently the Associate Director and Head of Translational Medicine and Research Lab at Genmab, a position they began in 2025. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Scientist in Translational Medicine at Genmab from 2022 to 2025 and as a Senior Scientist at UMC Utrecht from 2020 to 2022, where they led a project focused on improving regenerative medicine technologies. Guy completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Hubrecht Institute from 2010 to 2015, earning a Veni Grant in 2011 for their work on lymphangiogenesis. They also obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Leiden University Medical Center, contributing valuable insights into transcription factor mechanisms. Guy holds a Doctorandus in Pharmacy from Universiteit Utrecht, where they studied from 1997 to 2004.
