Jonathan Ploeger

Jonathan Ploeger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jonathan currently holds the position of Director, National Team Lead Health Evidence and Outcomes Liaisons at Genmab since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director, Health Evidence & Outcomes - Global Medical Affairs at Genmab from June 2022. Earlier, they served as a Strategic Advisor at avoMD, providing strategic insight for their growth opportunities in the healthcare landscape.

Jonathan also worked at Nektar Therapeutics as a Field Medical representative from April 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at Astellas Pharma US, including as an Associate Director Health Economics & Outcomes Research from May 2020 to April 2021 and a Senior Medical Scientific Liaison from January 2019 to May 2020.

In addition to their scientific work, Jonathan had a role as a Contributing Writer at Quartzy, Inc. from February 2017 to April 2017, where they identified current event topics in healthcare and biotechnology and provided breakdowns of relevant trends and technological breakthroughs.

Before embarking on their scientific career, Jonathan owned and operated Ploeger Chiropractic Center from January 2010 to June 2016, aiming to provide chiropractic care to as many people as possible. Overall, their work experience showcases a wide range of expertise in the healthcare and research fields.

Jonathan Ploeger has an extensive education history. Jonathan earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Northwestern Health Sciences University from 2004 to 2008, obtaining a D.C. degree with a focus on human anatomy, physiology, and neurology. Before pursuing their doctoral studies, they completed their undergraduate education at Saint John's University, where they earned a B.A. degree in Biology from 2000 to 2004. Jonathan's academic journey began at Anoka Senior High School, where they received their General Studies H.S. Diploma from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Jonathan Ploeger also holds a certification in Duolingo German Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) from Duolingo, which they obtained in June 2016.
