Patrick Gentry

Patrick Gentry is a Senior Scientist specializing in Documentation within CMC Science & Technologies at Genmab since January 2023. Previously, Patrick held the position of Senior Scientist in Bioassay Analytical Development at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies from April 2021 to December 2022, and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen from February 2017 to April 2021, focusing on orphan GPCRs and their association with disease states. Patrick's postdoctoral research at Monash University involved studying molecular interactions of small molecule drugs with neuroreceptors, specifically targeting the M5 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor to address drug addiction. Patrick completed a Ph.D. in Chemical and Physical Biology at Vanderbilt University, where dissertation work centered on M5 receptor ligands, and has a cum laude Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the same institution.
