Wouter Hazenbos

Wouter Hazenbos is a seasoned researcher and senior director in the field of microbiology and immunology. With a diverse educational background that includes a PhD from Leiden University and a Master's degree from the University of Amsterdam, Wouter Hazenbos has accumulated extensive experience across multiple prestigious institutions. Notable roles include postdoctoral researcher at Utrecht University and Osaka University, assistant adjunct professor and assistant research immunologist at the University of California, San Francisco, and various positions at Genentech culminating as Sr Scientist. Currently, Wouter Hazenbos is employed as Sr Director at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. and will serve as Senior Director, Head of Target Discovery at Genmab starting in August 2025.
